Beverly’s right‑hander Jayden Cunningham was cruising toward a no‑hitout, having thrown six strikeouts with just two walks before the Greenfield bats finally found a gap in the seventh inning.
The Greenfield side managed only a sacrifice fly from Luca Siano and a walk by Sam Connors before the final out was recorded by Mark Walsh, sealing a 2‑1 defeat.

Despite the loss, Greenfield finished the year with a 17‑2‑2 record and a hard‑earned District 3 title, a testament to the team’s resilience and depth.
