Greg Rahn Takes the reins at Dominican
Greg Rahn will take over as the head coach of the Dominican men’s basketball program in June 2026, bringing a blend of playing experience and coaching acumen to the role.
Rahn’s most recent stint was as the coach of the women’s team at Dominican, where he guided the squad to multiple top‑finish finishes in the PacWest conference and helped develop Brittney Cedeno into a defensive standout who set a school record for steals.
A proven developer of talent
His coaching journey includes a decade at the helm of the Pacific Union College men’s team, a tenure that produced a conference title, and assistant roles at the University of San Francisco and the Bay Area Phoenix of the Women’s Premier Basketball Association.
Rahn also spent time as a youth camp instructor for the Golden State Warriors, where he worked alongside NBA veterans such as Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Jordan Bell, Damian Jones, Shaun Livingston and Zaza Pachulia, sharpening his player‑development philosophy.
A native of Pittsburg, California, Rahn holds a business administration degree from Cal State Fullerton and a master’s in sports administration from Arkansas State, and he remains committed to nurturing student‑athletes both on and off the court.
