Greg Stagani, a 1995 graduate of Edison High School and a former standout pitcher at West Liberty University, has been named the new athletic director and head baseball coach at Indian Creek High School, succeeding longtime mentors Mike Cottis and Joe Dunlevy who retired after years of service.
Stagani’s return to the Ohio Valley follows a four‑year stretch in the Northeast, where he coached the Worcester Bravehearts in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League and served as a health teacher and assistant baseball coach at Millford High School in Millford, Massachusetts.
Prior to that chapter, he refined his leadership at West Virginia Tech and West Virginia Wesleyan, earning a reputation as a four‑time All‑MEC selection and a respected figure among teammates and opponents alike.
Financial Literacy in the Classroom
In addition to overseeing the baseball program, Stagani will teach a financial literacy course at Indian Creek High School, integrating real‑world concepts such as budgeting, investing and credit management into the curriculum.
