Grungo Law Joins Temple Football as Official Jersey Patch Partner

The law firm’s branding will appear on Owls jerseys through the 2028 season, marking a first for the program.

A Historic Jersey Partnership

Temple University Athletics has entered into a multi‑year agreement with Grungo Law, a personal injury practice based in the tri‑state region, to become the Official Jersey Patch Partner of the Owls football program. The arrangement marks the first jersey patch partnership in Temple Football history and makes Grungo Law the first law firm to appear on a Division I collegiate jersey in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

Starting with the 2026 season, the Grungo Law logo will be stitched onto the game and practice jerseys of Temple Football student‑athletes. The patch will make its debut when the Owls open their schedule on Saturday, September 5, against Rhode Island.

The partnership is set to run through the 2028 football season and was negotiated with the assistance of Van Wagner, Temple Athletics’ multimedia rights partner. In addition to the jersey branding, the collaboration will feature fan‑engagement activations and community initiatives at home games and across Temple’s digital and social media platforms.

Richard Grungo Jr., founder and CEO of Grungo Law, expressed excitement about supporting Temple’s vision and dedication, while Arthur Johnson, vice president and Stanley Lefkowitz ’65 Director of Athletics, highlighted the deal as a model for innovative corporate relationships that benefit the broader Temple community.
