The Gulfport Admirals are set to unveil a brand‑new on‑campus stadium that will replace Milner Stadium as the team’s home field, marking a decisive step forward for the program and a fresh chapter in Gulfport football history.
A New Era Begins
The facility features modern amenities, including dedicated home and visitor stands, a high‑definition video scoreboard, and a series of concession stands designed to enhance the spectator experience. The Admirals will open the venue with five regular‑season games, beginning with a matchup against the Laurel Golden Tornadoes on September 11 at 7 p.m.
Coach Blake Pennock said the new venue will allow the team to create a packed house for the season opener, while players Cannon Parker and Victor Labega expressed excitement about the improved environment for both athletes and fans.
Beyond the immediate thrill, the stadium is expected to deepen community engagement, offering a vibrant gathering place that could revitalize interest in Gulfport football and signal a fresh chapter in the city’s sporting landscape.
