According to Arlington County Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of 28th Street South shortly before 10 p.m. on Saturday after receiving a report of gunfire. The call came following a heated dispute among players at a basketball court in Long Branch Creek.
Witnesses said the argument escalated quickly, leading one individual to discharge a firearm. The sound of shots prompted a swift police response, though no victims were found on the scene.
Investigation Underway, No Suspect Located
