A Summer Tradition Returns to Brooklyn Park
The Twin Cities Gus Macker Basketball Tournament will light up the streets of Brooklyn Park on August 15 and 16, 2026, bringing together players of all ages for a weekend of outdoor three‑on‑three competition.
Organizers have opened team registrations through July 27, charging $200 per squad. Each team must field four players, with one substitute permitted, and participants must be at least eight years old.
The double‑elimination format guarantees every team at least three games, ensuring ample playing time while maintaining a competitive edge.

North Hennepin Community College, located at 7411 85th Avenue North in Brooklyn Park, serves as one of the event’s partner sites, underscoring the tournament’s integration with regional educational institutions.
