Tournament schedule and format
Competing nations include the Netherlands, Chinese Taipei, Italy, Czechia, Curaçao and the International Globetrotters, each entering a tightly packed group stage that runs from 26 June to 2 July, with double‑headers on 27 and 28 June and a single game on 2 July.
Semifinals will unfold on 2 and 3 July, culminating in the championship game on 4 July at 15:00 local time, promising a finale under the summer sky.
Defending champions and future prospects
The Netherlands enter as reigning European champions and are preparing for the WBSC Premier12 2027, while Chinese Taipei arrive as the current WBSC Premier12 titleholders; Italy, fresh from a semifinal run at the 2026 World Baseball Classic, adds further intrigue.
Czechia will test its mettle in the WBSC Premier12 Zhongshan Qualifier, and Curaçao, long celebrated as a nursery of talent within the Kingdom of the Netherlands, brings its own flair to the competition.
Beyond the diamond, the event offers a Blind Baseball demonstration on 27 June, a Baseball5 showcase on 28 June, and the nostalgic Old Stars Game on 4 July, while a children’s zone and an e‑baseball arena keep fans of all ages engaged throughout the tournament.
