Haiti and coach Sebastien Migne have announced that they will part ways, ending a brief but eventful partnership that culminated in the nation's first World Cup appearance in five decades.
The separation was framed as a mutual decision, with both parties acknowledging the need to move forward after a historic tournament that saw Haiti compete on football's biggest stage.
Migne, who took charge of the Haitian side in 2024, guided the team through a qualifying campaign that ended with a surprise berth in the group phase, a milestone not achieved since 1974.
During the World Cup, Haiti faced Scotland, Brazil and Morocco, succumbing to 1‑0, 3‑0 and 4‑2 defeats respectively, results that underscored the competitive nature of the group.
