On August 31, 2026, the St. Lawrence River in Clayton, New York, will become the stage for a unprecedented blend of football glory and competitive fishing. The Pro Football Hall of Fame, in partnership with the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society, will stage the inaugural Bassmaster Randy Moss Pro Football Hall of Fame Pro-Am, a one‑day tournament that brings together Hall of Fame legends and Bassmaster Elite Series anglers.
A Unique Collaboration
The event is designed to create memorable experiences both on and off the water. Hall of Famers such as Randy Moss, Rondé Barber, Robert Brazile, Cris Carter, Rickey Jackson, Calvin Johnson, Kevin Mawae, John Randle, Warren Sapp, Joe Thomas and Kellen Winslow will join forces with top‑ranked anglers for a day of sport, camaraderie and charity.
In addition to the tournament, a free fan expo and an afternoon weigh‑in celebration will invite spectators to engage with players, collectors and industry leaders. The festivities are timed to coincide with the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival, which runs from August 5‑9, offering a broader platform for fan interaction and community celebration.
Randy Moss, who is spearheading the initiative, expressed excitement about launching an event that marries his two passions — football and fishing. "We’re looking to create memories on and off the water," Moss said, emphasizing the event’s dual focus on competition and community outreach.
Organizers hope the Pro‑Am will become an annual highlight, showcasing the shared values of dedication, teamwork and sportsmanship that define both the Hall of Fame and Bassmaster traditions.
