A Season of Excellence
Hamilton College’s men’s soccer program has added another accolade to its résumé, capturing the 2025‑26 United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award with a collective grade point average of 3.63.
The honor, which recognizes teams that maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA for the academic year, marks the ninth time the Continentals have earned the distinction since 2015, underscoring a sustained commitment to scholarly achievement on the field.
First‑year head coach Brendan Ujvary, who took the helm of the program this season, praised the student‑athletes for balancing rigorous academics with competitive soccer, noting that the award reflects the culture he hopes to nurture.
Academic Accolades
Fourteen players earned spots on the 2025 NESCAC Fall All‑Academic Team, and two teammates were selected to the all‑region squad for the upcoming campaign, further highlighting the program’s dual focus on sport and scholarship.
Season Opener
The Continentals will open their 2026 season at home against Utica University on September 5 at noon, a match that will serve as the first test of Ujvary’s vision as the squad looks to translate its classroom success into on‑field results.
