The day’s first contest will see Class 3A Guerin Catholic journey to Ruxer Field in Jasper, where the Golden Eagles are slated to meet Providence at 1 p.m. The victor will advance to the championship game later that evening.
In the afternoon, Gibson Southern will square off against Cathedral in a clash of longtime rivals, with the matchup scheduled for 2 p.m. at the same venue. Both programs hope to secure a spot in the final, which is set for an 8 p.m. start.
Across the state, Class 2A University will travel to Lawrence Central in Indianapolis to face Evansville Mater Dei in the opening semifinal at 11 a.m. The Trailblazers aim to continue their surprising run toward the title game.
The second semifinal in that bracket will pit Heritage Christian against Sullivan, also at 2 p.m., before the winners of the two contests meet for the championship at 8 p.m.
