Under head coach Erik Becker, the Tigers enter the new season with continuity, bringing back a core group of starters who helped capture the 2025 championship. The coaching staff emphasizes reloading rather than rebuilding, focusing on the talent that remains.
Among the returning leaders is Lucca Boyce, a dynamic running back who topped the state with 1,462 rushing yards and added 17 touchdowns, while also contributing four receiving scores.
Defensively, Brayden Dempsey continues to terrorize opponents, having recorded 9.5 sacks a year ago, and Nate Kessell contributed four more, forming a front line that opponents must respect.
Key Departures and the Road Ahead
The Tigers will also be without several key linemen — Tim O'Malley, Connor Casagrande, Cole Preskar and Stone Leckey — who were integral to the championship run. Their absence creates openings that the team must fill through younger players and strategic adjustments.
