A New Chapter for the Mules
Hannah Keefe has been promoted to Assistant Head Coach of the Colby Field Hockey Program for the 2026‑27 academic year, a move that reflects her three‑year tenure and growing influence within the program.
Keefe’s journey to this role began on the fields of the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where she starred as a Division I player for five seasons before transitioning to coaching.
Head Coach Allison Whittemore highlighted Keefe’s commitment, professionalism and dedication, noting that her impact extends beyond tactics to mentorship and community engagement.
In her expanded capacity, Keefe will oversee recruiting, guide student‑athletes, and deepen ties with the Colby community, helping the program maintain its upward trajectory.
Season Opener Details
The Mules are set to open the 2026 season against Husson University on September 8, a matchup that will test the new coaching dynamic as the team looks to build on recent successes against ranked NESCAC opponents.
