Hannah Tepper Joins Yale Field Hockey Staff

Former Trinity Coach Brings NCAA Experience to Bulldogs

Yale University has named Hannah Tepper as its newest assistant coach for the field hockey program, a move that brings a blend of playing pedigree and coaching acumen to the Bulldogs' bench.

A Strategic Addition to the Bulldogs' Staff

Tepper arrives after a stint as acting head coach at Trinity College, where she guided the team to multiple NCAA Tournament appearances and helped develop NFHCA All‑America honorees.

A native of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, she graduated from Assumption College with a bachelor's degree in biology and previously captained the Greyhounds, leading them to several national tournament berths.

Her coaching journey also includes work with USA Field Hockey’s Nexus program and a role on the Yale staff that was recently honored as the NFHCA Mideast Region Coaching Staff of the Year.

Under her guidance, Yale aims to build on last season’s historic run, having captured its first Ivy League Tournament title and made its inaugural appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
