Season Opener Highlights
The varsity football team from Hart opened its season in spectacular fashion, posting a 20‑0 victory over Birmingham on Friday night. The shutout was sealed early, with the defense setting a tone that would carry through the entire contest.
Running back Matix Frithsmith was the offensive catalyst, finding the end zone three times. His first score came on a 5‑yard rush that put Hart ahead 7‑0, and he added a 28‑yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to cap a 100‑yard performance.
Hart’s defense proved equally relentless. The unit recorded three sacks on Birmingham quarterback Daniel Kakooza, constantly pressuring him and limiting his options.
