The Harvard Crimson men's 3‑x‑3 basketball team journeyed to Tegucigalpa, Honduras, for the FISU 3×3 Americas Cup, fielding a roster that included Ben Eisendrath, Dutch Dowdell, Joseph Quartey and Ryan Sullivan.
Harvard opened the tournament with two straight victories, first downing TEC 21‑14 — a game where Eisendrath and Dowdell combined for 17 points — and then edging the University of Chile 17‑16, with Eisendrath contributing 12 points.
The momentum shifted in the quarterfinals against Mexico's UANQ, where the Crimson fell 21‑17; Eisendrath top‑scored with 16 points, but the narrow loss dropped them into the classification bracket.
In the fifth‑place match, Harvard succumbed to Bishop's University of Canada 21‑11, with Dowdell leading the scoring effort at six points while Quartey and Sullivan added two each.
