A Dual Boost for the Crimson Defense
Harvard’s women’s soccer program revealed this week that it will welcome two new goalkeepers for the upcoming 2026 campaign, a move designed to reinforce the squad’s depth and competitiveness.
Nicole Bidun arrives from the University of Georgia, where she spent two seasons and contributed to two NCAA Tournament appearances. During her collegiate career she became the starting keeper for Decatur FC, earning All‑State, All‑City and All‑League honors in high school, a testament to her consistent performance at the highest levels of youth soccer.
Fio Eddy, a first‑year student from Cambridge, Massachusetts, joins the Crimson after serving two years as captain of Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School. She also sharpened her skills with New England Surf, collecting All‑Star and All‑League accolades in 2024 and 2025, highlighting her rise as one of the region’s most promising talents.
The additions reflect a strategic blend of experience and local promise, giving the coaching staff additional options between the posts as the team prepares for a challenging schedule. Both players are expected to integrate quickly into the program’s defensive framework.
