The quarterback's college trajectory includes stints at TCU and Oklahoma State, where he faced injuries but still managed to contribute meaningfully. At TCU he appeared in four games, recording 65 rushing yards, and at Oklahoma State a broken foot limited his sophomore season, yet he still completed five of ten passes for 96 yards and a touchdown, adding 27 rushing yards and a rushing score.
