Authorities in Ohio have opened a hazing investigation after reports that members of the Harrison High School basketball team engaged in inappropriate conduct during an overnight event.
The incident, which allegedly involved two upperclassmen, is said to have included battery and indecent exposure toward an underclassman, according to statements from the Tippecanoe County sheriff's office.
The alleged misconduct took place between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. on June 13 at the Eastern Ohio Sports Complex in Sherrodsville, a village located in Carroll County, about 70 miles north of Akron.
Following the incident, the team cut the trip short and returned to Indiana on June 14, prompting school officials to cooperate fully with investigators.
Indiana Child Protective Services has been drawn into the matter, underscoring the seriousness of the allegations and the potential impact on the students involved.

Tippecanoe County sheriff's detectives are leading the criminal inquiry, but as of now no arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
