A Historic Streak
The Healdsburg Prune Packers have etched their names into the annals of the Pacific Empire League once again, securing their sixth consecutive championship after a decisive sweep of the Lincoln Potters.
The series concluded on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Healdsburg’s Recreation Park, where the Packers first traveled to Lincoln and posted an 8‑2 victory before returning home for a 9‑1 triumph that sealed the title.
Comprised largely of rising college talent, the squad blended youthful vigor with seasoned poise, a combination that proved overwhelming for their opponents.
Among the standout performances, Joey Gomes and Jacoby Gomes delivered clutch hits, while JC Osorio‑Agard and Duncan Russell anchored the pitching staff, and Brandon Mann added a timely RBI that swung the momentum in the final game.
