Hearts of Pine Set to Elevate Women’s Soccer in Portland
The Portland-based franchise, known as the Hearts of Pine, will debut in the United Soccer League’s Women’s division next spring, bringing a semi‑professional team to the city’s vibrant sports scene.
The club has secured a USL‑Women’s League franchise and will field a roster composed of top collegiate players and the league’s most promising pre‑professional talent, aiming to showcase the next generation of women’s soccer.
Home games are slated for six matches at historic Fitzpatrick Stadium, with the inaugural match scheduled for May of next year, marking a significant milestone for women’s sports in the region.
