North Hamilton Hibernians erased a four-run hole to beat Broad Street Park Post 313 5-4 in a Mercer County American Legion League showdown at Bob DeMeo Field in Veterans Park.
The decisive moment arrived in the seventh inning, when the Hibernians rallied for four runs. Shane Mitchell went 3-for-3 and scored, while Alex “Danny” Alonzo delivered two hits and Shane Sammons knocked in two.
J.P. Santos entered in the eighth and delivered two shutout innings, striking out six batters while also adding a double and a run scored earlier in the sixth.
Luke Radoslovich started on the mound for Broad Street Park, holding the Hibernians scoreless through four innings, but Ryan Anderson’s relief appearance saw the game-changing four-run burst.
