Chance Daniels, a senior at Sumrall High School and a standout on the football field, died Sunday night after being shot and later dying in a crash while being rushed to a hospital.
The shooting occurred near State Route 42 at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, and Daniels was later found in a crash inside Prentiss, Mississippi, with an unidentified female beside him.
