Historic NASCAR Stock Cars Descend on Le Mans in Landmark Le Mans Classic

A transatlantic showcase pits American racing legends against the iconic Circuit de la Sarthe, streamed live on HSR and IMSA YouTube channels.

More than thirty historic NASCAR stock cars are set to take the green flag at the Circuit de la Sarthe as part of the Le Mans Classic, marking the first time the storied American series will compete on the legendary French circuit outside of North America.

A transatlantic celebration of speed

The lineup features a who’s who of American racing talent, headlined by Kurt Busch, the 2026 NASCAR Hall of Famer and 2004 Cup Series champion, who will make his Le Mans debut in a NEMCO‑prepared No. 1 Monster Energy Chevrolet Camaro that once served under Chip Ganassi Racing.

Joining him is Michael Parsons, who will pilot the iconic black No. 3 Goodwrench Chevrolet Lumina that Dale Earnhardt Sr. famously drove, while Victor Corda and Chris Stillwell will field former Greg Biffle‑linked Ford Mustangs from the 2009 season.

Jean Algernas will be behind the wheel of the historic No. 90 Ford Torino from Donlavey Racing, a car that first appeared at Le Mans half a century ago, and JC France will drive a Chevrolet Camaro bearing the Garage 56 livery made famous by Jimmie Johnson in the 2023 24‑hour race.

The roster also includes former NFL lineman Scott Dolfi in a Kyle Busch Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado, Ryan Gemmell in a Perrier‑sponsored No. 55 Monte Carlo, Joe Nemechek with a Cal Naughton Jr.‑themed Toyota Camry, and IMSA President John Doonan taking the cockpit of the Wonder Bread‑painted car that became a pop‑culture touchstone.

Qualifying will kick off on Friday, followed by three races across Saturday and Sunday, all of which will be streamed live with English commentary on the HSR and IMSA YouTube channels, allowing fans worldwide to experience the blend of American heritage and the romance of Le Mans.
