A post‑race penalty for Bubba Wallace, who was found driving below the double yellow line, dropped him to 29th and promoted Christopher Bell to second, subsequently moving Hocevar up to third.

Hocevar later explained that he had drifted too far outward in the closing corners, sacrificing drafting help that Blaney needed to pull away.
