Indiana’s basketball squad is set to contest the gold medal match of the FISU America Games against the Virgin Islands at 4 p.m. Eastern Time on Monday, July 27.
The Hoosiers entered the tournament with a dominant 55‑point win over the same opponent in the group stage, a performance that underscored their depth and defensive intensity.
The competition brings together college athletes from across North, Central and South America as well as the Caribbean, with contests spread across fifteen different sports.
All games are streamed live on the official YouTube channel of the FISU America Games, and there is no alternate radio or secondary streaming platform available.
Standout performances have emerged from the roster, most notably from freshman Vauhn Karvala, who is averaging 20.3 points per game while shooting an efficient 72.7 % from the field.
Karvala’s impact was evident in the recent victory over Chile, where six different Hoosiers reached double‑digit scoring and the team posted a balanced attack.
Veteran contributors such as Darren Harris, who added 15 points, eight rebounds and three assists, and Aiden Sherrell, Sam Alexis and Trent Sisley, each scoring 14 points or more, have helped maintain the team’s momentum.
With a schedule that already includes wins over Peru, the Virgin Islands and Chile, Indiana approaches the final as the culmination of a steady progression toward the podium.
