The Hoosiers will open their 2026‑27 preseason with a homecoming clash against the University of North Carolina in Indianapolis on October 18, a game that promises an early test against a traditional powerhouse.
Just a week later, on October 25, Indiana will travel to Evansville, where the historic Ford Center will host a matchup against Western Kentucky before a crowd of up to 11,000 fans, marking the second exhibition of the season.
Beyond those contests, the nonconference slate includes neutral‑site battles against Kentucky and Syracuse, while the regular home portion will feature Eastern Illinois, Bellarmine and Bowling Green.
