Former U.S. Women’s National Team goalkeeper Hope Solo is preparing to auction more than 45 items from her personal World Cup collection, a trove that captures some of the most defining moments of her career.
A Collection Steeped in History
The lot includes match‑worn jerseys from the 2015 tournament, a championship ring from the final against Japan, and the Golden Glove award that recognized her standout performances. Solo also contributes memorabilia from earlier knockout victories over China and Germany, each piece a tangible reminder of the team’s historic run.
All proceeds from the sale are earmarked for SheBelongs, a nonprofit that uses soccer as a vehicle for empowering young girls across the United States.
Lelands, the auction house handling the sale, has set an August 15 deadline for bids, giving collectors and fans a limited window to acquire a piece of soccer history while supporting a charitable cause.
The auction arrives at a time when soccer’s popularity in the United States is surging, and Solo’s items are expected to draw significant interest from both sports memorabilia enthusiasts and those looking to contribute to the growth of the women’s game.
