A Festival Revived
The Hopscotch Music Festival is set to return to Raleigh, North Carolina, from September 10th to 12th, 2026, bringing three days of eclectic sounds to the heart of the city.
Headlining the opening night, Dexter and the Moonrocks will take the City Plaza stage, fresh off the release of their single “If You Could Talk.” The group’s track “Freakin’ Out” has dominated Alt Radio for three consecutive weeks, underscoring their rising momentum.
Cory Wong will close out the second day, debuting “Maceology,” a collaboration with saxophonist Steve Cole that blends funk‑infused guitar work with smooth brass lines. King Princess will headline the final evening, showcasing material from her recent EP “Cherry,” while also serving as a supporting act on Sombr’s upcoming tour that kicks off July 22nd.
Beyond the main stage, the festival’s club schedule will feature a curated roster of emerging talent, including Algernon Cadwallader, Chuck Strangers, Dagmar Zuniga, and the indie duo Soccer Mommy, alongside newcomers Willis and Annie Dirusso.
Club Night Highlights
The club shows promise an intimate complement to the larger performances, with additional acts such as Horsegirl and Butcher Brown adding diverse textures to the lineup. Each night’s programming is designed to guide attendees through a seamless journey from high‑energy headliners to underground favorites.
