Hudson High School Unveils 2026 Football Schedule
Hudson High School’s football program, a three‑time Division 6 Final Four participant, has released its 2026 schedule, a slate that blends ambitious matchups with traditional rivalries. The Hawks are looking to extend a streak of recent successes while integrating a core group of returning players who will shoulder greater responsibility after the departure of several senior standouts.
The season will open with back‑to‑back home games at the historic Morgan Bowl, beginning with a showdown against Shrewsbury on September 11, followed by a clash with Westborough on September 17. Those early contests set the tone for a schedule that deliberately pits Hudson against larger opponents and longtime local adversaries.
Mid‑Wach C play opens with a rivalry contest against Clinton on October 2 at 7 p.m., and the team will then embark on a stretch of three consecutive road games that includes matchups versus Auburn, Oakmont and West Boylston. The schedule also features a meeting with Division 7 Super Bowl contender West Boylston on October 23, underscoring the competitive nature of the lineup.
Adding to the narrative, Hudson will meet Marlborough on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, at 10 a.m., marking the fourth straight year the Hawks have appeared in the annual holiday rivalry. The tradition reflects the program’s deep roots in the community and its commitment to playing a full slate of meaningful games.
Quarterback Logan Dome returns as a key figure after posting 1,207 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns in the previous season, while also contributing 889 passing yards and 10 scores. Other returning contributors include Toby Edie, who added 632 rushing yards and six touchdowns, as well as kicker Roy Gao and lineman Damian Chaves. The departure of defensive lineman Dom Chaves, who transferred to Buckingham, Browne & Nichols, and the graduation of running back Treson Meuse, kicker Roy Gao and defensive standout Damian Chaves, present both challenges and opportunities for younger players to step up.
The coaching staff’s preparation has been bolstered by collaboration with the Massachusetts High School Football Coaches Association, an organization that supports elite high school programs across the state.
