Indiana University’s football program is turning up the heat on its summer recruiting agenda, planning a series of visits aimed at reinforcing a defense that has shown flashes of brilliance in recent seasons.
A Promising Prospect
Among the visitors is Chris Bradley, a cornerback prospect from North College Hill High School in Ohio. The 3‑star recruit, unranked by 247Sports and ESPN but evaluated positively by On3 and Rivals, will set foot on the Bloomington campus in June.
Coach Rod Ojong, who oversees the secondary, recently traveled to Ohio to meet Bradley in person, signaling the staff’s intent to build a relationship early in the prospect’s evaluation.
A Secondary on the Rise
The Hoosiers have already benefited from the emergence of D'Angelo Ponds and Jamari Sharpe, who have combined for a substantial number of passes defended and interceptions this past season. Their performances have not only elevated the unit’s statistics but also provided a competitive edge in practice, pushing younger players to sharpen their own skills.
Bradley’s potential addition would add depth and versatility to a secondary that is already poised to compete at a higher level in the upcoming conference schedule. If the visit culminates in a commitment, Indiana could see a tangible boost in its defensive outlook for the next campaign.
