A Busy Exhibition Schedule
Indiana University’s men’s basketball program has locked in a preseason exhibition against Western Kentucky, set for Oct. 25, 2026 at the Ford Center in Evansville. The game marks the Hoosiers’ second tune‑up before the regular season, following an earlier matchup with North Carolina in Indianapolis on Oct. 18.
The Ford Center, which can accommodate roughly 11,000 fans, will provide an intimate setting for the contest, allowing the Hoosiers to test new lineups in front of a regional audience. Indiana’s non‑conference slate also includes neutral‑site meetings with Kentucky and Syracuse, while additional reported games at Assembly Hall are slated against Eastern Illinois, Bellarmine and Bowling Green.
Looking Ahead to Peru
Beyond the domestic exhibitions, the Hoosiers will travel to Peru this summer to compete in the FISU America Games from July 20 to Aug. 1. The overseas stint offers a unique opportunity for the new‑look roster to gel under competitive pressure and for fans to see the team’s evolving identity on an international stage.
The Peru tour will showcase several fresh faces, including transfers and freshmen who have yet to experience college‑level basketball in the United States. Coaches have emphasized that the international games are as much about chemistry as they are about skill development.
Fans can expect a series of public practices and community events during the trip, which will be held in partnership with local basketball federations. The experience is designed to leave a lasting impact both on the student‑athletes and on the host nation’s growing basketball culture.
