Indiana University has unveiled its complete non‑conference schedule for the 2026‑27 men’s basketball season, outlining a slate that blends home‑court action with high‑profile road tests.
A packed home slate
The Hoosiers will host nine contests inside Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall, while three additional games are slated for neutral venues, giving fans a substantial portion of the season on campus.
Before the regular‑season opener, the team will participate in a series of exhibition matches that serve as a warm‑up against a variety of opponents.
Coach's vision
Head coach Darian DeVries said the schedule offers the program a chance to gauge its progress against elite competition, emphasizing the value of facing power‑conference teams early in the campaign.
Among the highlighted matchups are a neutral‑site showdown with Syracuse at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, a clash with Arkansas at Madison Square Garden, and a much‑anticipated meeting with Kentucky at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The full list also includes contests against Eastern Illinois, Bellarmine, Tennessee Tech, Jacksonville, Bowling Green, Western Illinois, UCF, Missouri and Fairleigh Dickinson, spread across November and December.
While the complete Big Ten conference schedule and tip‑off times will be released later in the season, the non‑conference slate provides a clear picture of the team's early‑year trajectory.
