Indiana State Announces 2026 Summer Prospect Camp and Fall Development League

Coach Tracy Archuleta outlines opportunities for aspiring baseball players

Indiana State University’s baseball program is set to host two key developmental events this year, aimed at high school athletes aspiring to play at the collegiate level.

Summer Prospect Camp: A showcase for the next generation

Head coach Tracy Archuleta announced that the Summer Prospect Camp will take place on August 16, 2026, at Bob Warn Field, commonly referred to as Sycamore Stadium. The camp is open to students who have graduated high school in the classes of 2027 through 2030, giving them a chance to display their talents directly to the ISU coaching staff.

Participants will receive instruction across all facets of the game, including hitting, pitching, baserunning and defensive techniques. The fee structure charges $150 for position players and $100 for pitchers who wish to attend solely as throwers.

Fall Instructional Development League: Skill building through competition

Beginning on September 13, the Fall Instructional Development League will run for six consecutive Sundays, each featuring a game followed by targeted skill work. Teams will contest six games over the six‑week stretch, with instruction provided before, during and after each contest by the Archuleta Baseball Camps coaching staff.

The league welcomes high school‑aged players from Indiana, Kentucky and Illinois, many of whom have previously competed and later joined the Sycamore roster. Current ISU athletes often credit the fall league as a pivotal step in their development.

Prospective campers can register through the official camp website, ArchuletaBaseballCamps.com, while ongoing updates about the Sycamore Baseball program are available at GoSycamores.com and via the March On app for real‑time scores and announcements.
