Indiana University is actively courting Anthony Brown, a 6‑foot‑6 forward who, despite being unranked, has attracted interest from a handful of programs across the country.
A Versatile Front‑Court Target
Brown’s game is built around explosiveness and a knack for crashing the boards on both ends of the floor, traits that have made him a standout in high‑school circles.
Defensively, his size and length enable him to guard multiple positions, while offensively he can slash to the rim, pull up for a midrange jumper, or even post up a defender with a soft baby hook.
Coach Darian DeVries, who has been overseeing the Hoosiers’ recruiting efforts, sees Brown as a piece that could mesh with Indiana’s up‑tempo style, providing cutting, play‑finishing and defensive versatility.
If Brown chooses to join the Hoosiers, he will likely spend a year or two refining his physique and shooting touch before earning a regular spot in the rotation.
Should his perimeter shot develop, the forward could become a pivotal component of the team’s frontcourt, adding depth and flexibility as the program looks to rebuild.
