Indiana University announced Tuesday that both its men’s and women’s basketball programs have released the non‑conference schedules for the 2026‑27 season, setting a slate that mixes home comforts with road challenges and neutral‑site tournaments.
Men’s non‑conference slate
The Hoosiers open the season on November 2 at home against Eastern Illinois, then travel to face Missouri and UCF. Neutral‑site contests will take them to Kentucky and Arkansas, and the regular non‑conference stretch concludes on December 22 with a home game versus Fairleigh Dickinson.
Women’s non‑conference slate
The women’s team opens on November 3 against Florida Gulf Coast before heading to a Fort Myers Tip‑Off, where they will meet Boston College, Florida State, Mississippi State and Georgia Tech over the ensuing days. Home games against Boston College and Florida State are also part of the schedule.
Both schedules represent a pivotal moment for the programs. For the men, it is the second season under head coach Darian DeVries, while the women’s lineup continues to build under their own coaching staff, aiming to translate early matchups into postseason momentum.
Looking ahead
Fans can expect a competitive start to the season, with the men’s team looking to leverage home‑court advantages early and the women’s squad using the Fort Myers tournament as a springboard for a deep run in the coming months.
