A Pitcher’s Masterclass
Right-hander Bryant Ritchie turned in a complete-game performance, surrendering just three hits and one run while striking out seven batters, a display that left Valley’s lineup largely silent.
The Indians struck first, plating three runs in the opening frame after leadoff triple by junior George Blake, who later added a run of his own to spark the offense.
Valley managed to break through in the fifth inning, with Drew Snook delivering the Tigers’ first hit and scoring their sole run, but the damage was limited as Indianola’s defense held firm.
