Inside Indiana Football, the live radio and streaming program sponsored by Merchants Bank, makes its debut on Thursday, September 3 at 7 p.m. Eastern Time, kicking off a season‑long series that will bring Hoosier football fans closer to the action.
The show will be recorded at Yogi's Bar & Grill in Bloomington, a beloved gathering spot for students and alumni, where the buzz of the crowd adds a unique flavor to each broadcast.
Two of the program’s most recognizable voices, longtime play‑by‑play announcer Don Fischer and head coach Curt Cignetti, will join the host for interviews that preview the upcoming season opener against North Texas.
Fans can tune in live on WHCC 105.1 FM in Bloomington and its network of radio affiliates across the state, while a live stream will also be available through IUHoosiers.com/watch, ensuring that viewers wherever they are can stay connected.
A Season‑Long Commitment to Coverage
The schedule promises a broadcast each week throughout the regular season, with a total of twelve episodes spread across September, October and November, including a special show during the team’s bye week on November 5.
The final week of the regular season, November 25, will not feature a live broadcast, allowing the production team to focus on post‑season coverage and analysis.
Beyond the game‑day excitement, the partnership with Merchants Bank underscores a commitment to community engagement, offering listeners a behind‑the‑scenes look at the program’s production and the stories that shape Indiana football.
Looking Ahead to the North Texas Opener
The season opener against North Texas serves as a litmus test for the Hoosiers, and the presence of Fischer and Cignetti on the show adds depth to the pre‑game analysis, giving listeners insight into strategy, player readiness and the team’s ambitions.
As the first broadcast approaches, anticipation builds among the university community, and the show’s blend of live play‑by‑play, interviews and behind‑the‑scenes commentary is poised to become a staple of the Hoosier football calendar.
