The third MLB game scheduled for August 13 will pit the Minnesota Twins against the Philadelphia Phillies, while the Iowa Cubs are set to welcome the St. Paul Saints in a Triple‑A clash on August 11.

Kansas capped a dominant season with a 45‑18 record and a Big 12 championship, whereas Iowa posted a 33‑23 slate and extended its streak to eleven straight appearances in the Big Ten Tournament. The NCAA permits Division I teams to stage two fall exhibition games each year, a rule that makes these contests possible.
