iRacing Studios is set to reshape how fans experience NASCAR video gaming with the upcoming release of NASCAR 26.
Building on the analytics framework introduced in NASCAR 25, the new title leverages real‑world data from NASCAR Insights to generate detailed performance ratings for each driver across a variety of track configurations.
Customizable driver ratings by circuit
The latest feature allows players to edit driver ratings directly in‑game, tailoring each competitor’s stats to reflect specific track characteristics such as superspeedways, short intermediates and road courses.
Trackhouse Racing drivers Ross Chastain, Shane van Gisbergen and Connor Zilisch were featured in a preview video, showcasing how their ratings shift across venues ranging from the high‑banked superspeedway to the tight concrete short track at Martinsville.
The Standard Edition of NASCAR 26 will hit stores on September 18, while Gold Edition owners can claim early access beginning September 15, granting them a head start on the new rating tools.
Developers hint that additional track‑specific categories may be introduced in future updates, promising deeper customization and a tighter link between virtual performance and real‑world racing metrics.
