Isabel “Isa” Vasco, a senior at Green River High School, has been crowned the 2025‑26 Gatorade Wyoming Girls Soccer Player of the Year, becoming the first girls soccer player in school history to earn the honor.
A milestone for the Lady Wolves
The award underscores a season in which Vasco guided the Lady Wolves to the Class 4A state tournament quarterfinals, delivering 54 goals and 10 assists while establishing herself as the state’s all‑time leading scorer with 224 career goals.
Her impact stretches beyond the pitch. Vasco, a five‑time Region IV Olympic Development Program selection, also captured two Class 4A West Region Player of the Year honors in basketball, maintained a weighted 4.15 GPA, and has been active in community service through 4‑H and the National Honor Society.
Looking ahead
Committed to continuing her athletic and academic pursuits, Vasco will join the University of Wyoming’s soccer program next fall, where she hopes to build on the legacy she leaves at Green River.
Beyond statistics, Vasco’s leadership in the classroom and her involvement with local youth programs reflect a well‑rounded profile that aligns with the values Gatorade seeks to promote.
