The University of Cincinnati announced that Isaiah Mack‑Russell, a junior standout from Winton Woods, has received a scholarship offer from the Bearcats after a campus visit on May 19.
Mack‑Russell concluded his high school career with a 23.7‑point average, earning Eastern Cincinnati Conference offensive player of the year honors and helping his team secure multiple double‑digit victories.
He contributed 7.5 rebounds per game, shot 57.7% from the field, 35.5% from three‑point range and 76% on free throws, and recorded six double‑doubles throughout the season.
His most memorable performance came against Withrow, where he posted 43 points, 11 rebounds and went 10‑of‑15 from beyond the arc, a game that highlighted his scoring versatility.
Coach Jerrod Calhoun, who has been actively recruiting local talent, also extended offers to Josh Tyson of Lakota West and Kam Mercer from Princeton, both of whom are rated as three‑star prospects by 247Sports.
Mack‑Russell’s recruitment portfolio also includes interest from Arizona State, Nebraska, Ohio State, Virginia and Washington, underscoring the national appeal of his skill set.
