University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa junior right‑hander Isaiah Magdaleno has been selected to the Perfect Game Third‑Team All‑American roster, a distinction that marks the first All‑America honor for a Rainbow Warrior since 2020 and places him among the 18 all‑time greats to receive the accolade from a major college baseball organization.
Magdaleno’s junior campaign was defined by dominance across multiple national statistical categories. He finished fifth in the country in WHIP at 0.92, sixth in hits allowed per nine innings at 5.38, and placed 13th in earned run average at 2.36. Over 15 starts he compiled a 7‑5 record with 116 strikeouts in 95.1 innings, while posting a 0.83 ERA over the final month of the season and delivering two complete‑game, one‑hit shutouts.
His impact extended beyond individual statistics, helping the UH pitching staff finish the regular season ranked third nationally and first in the Big West with a 3.44 team ERA. Magdaleno also earned First‑Team All‑Big West honors and ABCA Second‑Team All‑West Region recognition, capping a season that saw him post a 1.47 ERA in conference play.
