Academic Excellence Recognized on the Field
The United Soccer Coaches organization has announced that IU Indianapolis' men's and women's soccer squads have been honored with Team Academic Awards for the 2025‑2026 academic year, recognizing their collective scholarly performance.
The women's team, guided by head coach Angela Berry White, posted a cumulative grade point average of 3.70, placing the program among the nation's top academic performers in collegiate soccer.
Meanwhile, the men's side closed the year with a 3.54 GPA, also clearing the 3.0 threshold required for the award and underscoring the program's commitment to balancing athletics and scholarship.
Both programs met the minimum GPA requirement of 3.0, a benchmark that United Soccer Coaches uses to celebrate teams that excel academically as well as competitively.
