A Breakout Year in the Western Hockey League
Hurlbert finished fourth in league scoring with 97 points, combining 42 goals and 55 assists over 97 games. He contributed 32 even‑strength goals, nine on the power play and one shorthanded, while recording three hat tricks and six four‑point outings.
From Allen to the WHL
A native of Allen, Texas, Hurlbert climbed the ranks with the Kamloops Blazers, where he served as alternate captain and helped the club reach the playoffs. His leadership group experience was highlighted by a selection to the 2025 Team CHL at the CHL USA Prospects Challenge and a role on the leadership roster for the 2026 WHL Prospects Game.
International Recognition
Beyond club play, Hurlbert represented the United States at the 2024‑25 U.S. National Development Team program and earned a spot on the 2025 Team CHL roster, further cementing his status as one of the top prospects in North America.
