Columbia's Jack Kail has been recognized on the 2026 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division I All‑Northeast Region Second Team, a testament to a breakout season that placed him among the league’s most consistent hitters.
Kail closed the year with a .337 batting average, ranking fourth in the Ivy League, and amassed 57 hits, including 15 doubles, two home runs and 37 runs batted in. He also struck out only nine times in 169 at‑bats and went a perfect 7‑for‑7 on stolen‑base attempts.
The accolade marks his second consecutive unanimous first‑team All‑Ivy League selection and pushes him to fourth place in program history for career RBI, a milestone that underscores his impact over four years at Columbia.

The broader recognition will continue in June, when the ABCA/Rawlings All‑America teams and Gold Glove winners are slated for announcement, coinciding with the start of the NCAA Division I College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.
Rawlings Sporting Goods will unveil the finalists for the Gold Glove awards on June 15 via X, with the ultimate winners to be announced on June 17, rounding out a busy month for collegiate baseball honors.
