A dominant rushing display
Jack Tabbert, a Wisconsin offensive line commit, was the engine behind Pewaukee’s 42‑7 victory over Greendale, carrying the ball for 408 yards and six touchdowns. His performance accounted for the bulk of the team’s rushing attack and highlighted the effectiveness of the Warhawks’ ground game.
Tabbert arrived in Wisconsin after a summer move from North Dakota State, where he had honed his size and technique. At 6‑foot‑5 and between 270 and 275 pounds, he fits the physical profile that the Badgers’ line has been targeting. Coaches expect him to anchor the interior as a center next season.
Commitment and physical transformation
The line will feature another highly touted recruit, Northwestern commit Cade Reikowski, alongside fellow 2027 prospects Cole Reiter, Hunter Mallinger, Reece Mallinger and Ethan McIntosh. Tabbert has spoken about the Badgers’ emphasis on size and a “go and kick someone’s butt” mentality, a philosophy that shapes daily drills and meeting rooms.
Beyond the field, Tabbert will work with Wisconsin’s strength and conditioning staff, led by director Brady Collins, to fine‑tune his physique before stepping onto the Madison campus. The plan calls for incremental gains that could make him a cornerstone of the 2027 roster.
