A Versatile Threat Joins the Rebels
Jackson Kiss, a 6‑foot‑8‑inch forward standing 230 pounds, has pledged to wear the UNLV jersey beginning in the 2026‑27 campaign, bringing a blend of size and skill to the Runnin’ Rebels.
The four‑star recruit, who honed his game at Utah Prep Academy and showcased his talents on the Nike EYBL Scholastic League as well as the FIBA U17 World Cup stage, impressed coaches with his ability to stretch the floor, defend multiple positions and contribute across the stat sheet.
Head coach Josh Pastner, now in his second year at the helm, described Kiss as a “tough, physical forward with a high motor” whose versatility could reshape the team’s approach on both ends of the court, a sentiment echoed by the coaching staff as they anticipate the newcomer’s impact alongside returning stalwarts.
Kiss will join a crowded incoming class that includes Terrance Ford Jr., Jeremy Foumena, Tyler Harris, Cam Miles, MJ Thomas and Dontrez Williams, while veterans Tyrin Jones and Issac Williamson have also committed to return, bolstering a roster that finished the previous season with a second‑round NIT run under Pastner’s guidance.
