Jacob Carruth, a former Captain Shreve standout, has been named head football coach at St. Mary’s School in Natchitoches, Louisiana, bringing a familiar face back to the region after stints at Catholic Pointe‑Coupee and North Central.

The appointment marks a homecoming for Carruth, who grew up in North Louisiana and played quarterback for Captain Shreve before embarking on a coaching journey that began at Homer High and later included roles at Glenbrook and North Central.
